Our Anchor Day Camp provides a traditional camping experience for children between the ages of 5 and 15. We are located in an area that allows us to offer some amazing water-based adventures. Our programs are designed to create a safe and enjoyable environment for our campers. Here, they can make new friends, learn new skills, and explore the outdoors. Our experienced staff members are always available to help campers create a positive and unique experience. We offer a variety of activities, including swimming, sailing, paddle boarding, fishing, tennis, and various sports such as volleyball, soccer, basketball, and arts and crafts. Sailing and Steam
Sailing is an important component of our regular Anchor Day Camp program. However, our week-long Sail & Steam mini-camp is designed to provide a more comprehensive learning experience that delves deeper into the fundamentals of sailing, while also focusing on vessel safety, navigation, sail rigs, maintenance, and overall boat handling. This program is ideal for sailors of all proficiency levels, including those who are aspiring, intermediate, or advanced.
Our summer program is designed to promote creativity and mental stimulation among children. We achieve this through various fun Steam activities like building fundamentals, coding, imagineering, flight patterns, weight displacement on water, and more. We also incorporate a bit of mad science to engage their creative minds and help them learn and make new friends in their summer home!

Day Trips, Special Events
and Theme Days
Something for Everyone
We have added some exciting new activities to our traditional camp program. On top of the regular camp fun, we will be taking day trips to places like Top Golf, bowling alleys, local beaches, and movie theaters. These trips will be paired with special event and theme days such as College Day Olympics, Luau, Halloween, Dancing with the Stars, and Disney Theme Days. These events will surely add energy and color to our summer camp, creating an experience full of fun and excitement!
New! Pre-K Half Day Program
This program is for children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2023. It offers age-appropriate activities on site, such as swimming, arts and crafts, Imagineering, sports, and play.

Sample Schedule: Line Up & Pledge of Allegiance: 9 am-9:10 am Activity 1: 9:15 am-9:45 am Activity 2: 9:55 am-10:25 am Activity 3: 10:35 am-11:05 am Snack 11:05 am-11:15 Activity 4 (final): 11:15 am-11:45 am Wrap Up and Prepare for Departure: 11:45 am. This age group’s water activities will take place in one of our pools*

 LIYC’s Anchor Day Camp is an amazing experience for school-aged children. It is run by a fantastic team of directors and counselors who take great care of the campers and truly make summer a blast for them! Swimming, tennis, sailing, arts + crafts, and field trips are just a few fun activities that fill their days!

Anchor Camp

Registration Due Date - May 1, 2023
Eligibility - Children entering Kindergarten through
7th grade in Fall 2023
Tuition includes all activities, snacks, and a T-shirt.

Camp Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Club Teams and Lessons
Learn the fundamentals of sailing, tennis, and swimming. Children ages 5 through 15 can develop their skills in each area with guidance from our experienced instructors.

Swim Team
Our competitive Swim Team meets twice weekly for practice and meets throughout the summer. The membership Fee is $225 and includes all training, meets, tee shirt, and swim cap.

Swim Lessons: $35 for 30 minutes

Sailing and Paddleboarding
Our lessons are tailored to each individual, allowing everyone to learn at their own pace and progress at their level.
Sailing Lessons: $135/hour

Tennis
Players of all ages and skill levels can access official-size tennis courts for team play, youth programs, private lessons, and more.
Tennis Lessons: $55/ hour
